All oiled or waxed wooden surfaces will require at least one refreshing job per year. Even if the floor looks like new, the oil that was providing all the humidity protection could have evaporated and while the wood is still full of colour and looks great, it could actually be totally unprotected. Most hardwax oil and floor oils are made from a blend of natural waxes with an enhancer. Daily traffic, daily cleaning & sun exposure can cause the oil to evaporate. Another refreshing coat of floor oil will fully restore the protection if done within 12 months. While some oiled floor refreshers are easy to use, others are harder to use and require the use of heavy buffers and polishers. The new Chimiver Lios Talita Plus | Oiled Floor Refresher can be used for refreshing all types of oiled or waxed surfaces like hardwood floors, semi solid floors, wood furniture, wood doors, wood frames, wood toys, wood ceilings & walls and other surfaces. A professional quality oiled floor refresher suitable for indoor use only. It waterproofs and stain proofs the wood without altering the original look or gloss level. 

Chimiver Lios Talita Plus | Oiled Floor Refresher | How To Use It

Any surface that requires refreshing should be deep cleaned with one of Chimiver`s oiled floor cleaners. All types of impregnated residue and stains should be tackled before the floor gets refreshed. Assuming that the floor is fully dry and residue free, proceed to refreshing:

1. Prepare a few cloths and shake the bottle well for at least 10 seconds (the white pigment can sometime deposit at the bottom of the bottle).

2. Pour a bit of the product on the floor and rub it in with a clean cloth until the wood has absorbed it in full. Then move along.

3. The surface has to look wet but not soaked. Any excess oil should be removed in the next step.

4. About 30 minutes later go over the floor one more time. Use a clean cloth and scrub it nicely with the clean cloth. You want to remove all the excess oil that could not be absorbed by the floor. 

5. Do not use the floor for 1-2 hours. Open all the windows and ventilate the room to speed up the drying process.

Do not use the product on dirty or wet surfaces. Do not leave the oil to dry on the floor without removing the excess. Do not apply the new Chimiver Lios Talita Plus | Oiled Floor Refresher to varnished or laminate floors. Wash your newly refreshed floors with the new Chimiver Lios Soft Balm Aloe to protect it and make it look radiant. Store the product in a safe place away from direct sunlight.
